I consider Texas my home State, it is a Great Place, people are very friendly and generous but living in South Texas was getting tough. Heat & humidity makes the life miserable and then came drought during 2005 & the following years killing all the trees on my property, with a heavy heart I left Texas & came to Maine, I had heard about the beautiful fall foliage, and the claims were right. I was lucky to find a place on the bank of Passamaquoddy Bay with hilly wilderness on the back and 2 creeks on the eitherside. During the last 5 years I have not seen any neighbour but I don't miss them. Here wildlife is my neighbour, many birds, deer, racoon, bobcat, coyote, fox, rabbits and ground-hog keep me company. Beautiful sunrise and sunset are a plus and of course it is not HOT & HUMID. Skies are Blue and there is no pollution.
